    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

What role do you play in the management of the company following the investment?

Our role is to strengthen the company’s governance by implementing an operational strategy aimed at creating value (in collaboration with the project leader) and monitoring its progress through the company’s management bodies.

We generally favour a minority stake, ranging from 26 per cent (SARL) or 34 per cent (SPA) up to a maximum of 49 per cent. This approach allows the project owner to retain a majority stake and operational control. There are exceptions, particularly when we launch our own projects.

The stages of the analysis can be summarised as follows:

    • Initial contact and summary analysis of the transaction preliminary analysis
    • in-depth analysis (due diligence)
    • shareholders’ agreement and finalisation.
Do you require a minimum personal contribution from the project leader?

A personal contribution is mandatory for all projects. The project leader must hold a majority stake (more than 50 per cent) in the form of a cash or in-kind contribution.

Yes, if the project reaches an advanced stage requiring the exchange of confidential data, the project lead may request that a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) be signed.

We finance all types of projects, provided that their legal form allows for the company to be opened up to outside investors (SARL and SPA).

If it is an EURL, it must be converted into an SARL or SPA in order to admit new shareholders.

How do I submit my application?
    1. Submit a request for an appointment, either by email or via the form on the website, providing a brief description of the project and the project sponsor, the total cost, and the financing arrangements (own funds, loans, etc.),
    2. The request will be assessed and an appointment will be arranged if the project falls within the company’s investment policy.
